Once again, we were a wee bit late in celebrating Chaami's 5th month birthday!! However, not only did we celebrate it, we also attempted to make clay imprints of his hands & feet. The cake was once again AWESOME thanks to AMMA. The multiple attempts at making clay imprints though did not work out the way we had thought it would. Chaami got pissed with everyone trying to press his hands and feet into the clay and made it known that he did not appreciate it in no uncertain terms. At the end of the day, we decided to put it off and get professional help!! A great evening all in all though!!
We celebrated Chaami's fourth month birthday a wee bit later...but the cake was delicious & while we were busy taking picture, in walked Edgard with a whole lot of gifts for Chaami & family. We were quire glad that Edgard decided to come in at the most opportune time as we needed a photographer (the tripod shoe was sent to India by accident) to snap our family photo. Edgard did a fabulous job of taking some good shots and we nearly got Chaami to smile while Edgard was holding him. Oopsie - we forgot to take Murtuza's portion of the cake to him in the evening though!!!
2013 was perhaps the most momentous year in our relatively young lives apart from 2006. A year that brought stability into our lives and forged the two of us into a family. It was a year that started with a whole lot of disturbance and has now settled down to sleepless nights. We were fortunate to have had an opportunity to share this year with our parents, siblings and very dear friends. This was the year that has shown us the way ahead...
